Computer problem

Post by LaloHao »

I gotta tell you this is really stupid, i have an HP notebook tx1232la which literally fried, at least the motherboard did. I sent it to repair because it still had a warranty but after they "fixed" it and brought it back to me a lot of the stuff didn't work.

So basically all i have now it's just a regular laptop; touchscreen doesn't work, neither does the bluetooth, or the video card, now that the warranty has ended they won't do anything :banghead:

I heard it's possible to fix it but i couldn't find anything, have you guys heard about this before? Apparently what they did was changing the motherboard for a new one(same model) but i don't know how it all stopped working.

I hope you guys can help me this really sucks now :sohappy:

If Windows was Installed on a Different motherboard, there lies your problem. You need to reinstall Windows.

Windows is looking for the old motherboard when trying to access those Devices.

Was it a clean reinstall, or did you do the shortcut allowing you to back up data? You need to move all Wanted Items to an external. Format before reinstalling Windows. You also need to reset the Bios
