It's internet radio, kinda like last.fm. Probably better to check it on your comp then see if you like it. http://www.pandora.com

I dunno if Samsung Droids are the same as Verizon, but I'd get Advanced Task Killer Free.

Android likes to leave your programs running so this app just lets you manually select them from a list and close them. Saved battery life a ton.

I also picked up Handcent SMS because I don't like the default messaging app.

I'd recommend those to pretty much anyone.

If you have a datalimit on your contract, get a netcounter so you can see how much data you can still use.
Get Zedge for wallpapers / ringtones.

Personaly i dont like adv. task killer, my phone has an application manager anyhow, it doesn't show Everything task killer shows, but for me there was no noticeable difference in battery time with adv. task killer anyhow. Some people also claim killing tasks all the time will make your phone unstable... That might aswell just be nonesence though xD
