HTC Desire Z

Post by LillDev!l »

Does anyone here own one?
Or do you perhaps know someone who does own one?

I'm thinking of getting one myself, but reviews differ so much, they're either extremely positive or rather negative. It's difficult to get an idea of how the phone truely preforms.
I'm pretty sure the hinges won't bother me much by the way.

Spoiler!

I have the HTC EVO Shift and its the cousin of the G2/Desire Z and they both have the same hardware

Spoiler!

The hardware is great, lower clock but still more powerful than a first gen 1ghz snapdragon it saves battery life. Awesome keyboard and all. The only thing the should concern you is the Z hinge, make sure you get some extra warranty or mobile protection just in-case. It has HTC sense as well which is nice, I enjoy it greatly :3

An other question: providers nowadays often don't offer contracts with unlimited internet anymore, sooo... How fast do you reach a 1GB datalimit on a phone?

If you only browse internet pages without too many pictures and stuff it should be plenty. If you start downloading then it'll go fast. Also make sure to get on WLAN/WIFI when you can ;]

My data limit is 5MB per day, using opera mini with no images, and ebuddy, I can keep surfing for the whole day, so 1GB is enough for a month(month limit right?) without watching videos or downloading anything.

How do you explain a naked woman to a pubescent, visually impaired teen?
"Katsumi arches unnaturally over a coffee table. You can see the whole thing."
