Im working on the preliminary stages of a new website, im not asking for oppinions im more looking for 1 or 2 people who are either artists sure maybe not full blown artists but know their way around editing software, web programmers im more in need of people who can work with php and mysql as im planning on doing some custom coding a 2nd pair of hands to point out problems or write parts with me would be good, have a skill set which can benefit a large project like this.

First off id like to get some things straight im not looking to get rich this is something iv wanted to do for a while so right now its non profit meaning you dont get paid and secondly this isnt a simple bing bang bosh phpbb download install and done project so if your not serious about giving up some free time then dont bother, lastly no trolls fed up of the post count whores here we get it you want 10k posts for a custom name, im pretty close you dont see me spamming every post

oh before you ask im not giving out details as its something im keeping on a downlow until iv finalised what i actually want to do

down low until i have a plan iv only just started the ball rolling, yeh i dont know where my overly high expectations for the average population of srf came from, guess im optimistic we have lots of members i recon quite a few can add real value to things if given the chance

if you want to know a basic idea il tell you via pm but until its finalized rather, not myths and rumors can kill projects before they start by setting too high standards, people are then disapointed, iv had this idea for years but it needs cultivating a bit before i feel it can work well enough to be sustainable and worth while as a website.

If im been honest you where one of the people i was hoping to get interested.

Lastly im going to lose money on this so i cant exactly tell others they are going to make money as lets be serious its a website sure some sites make millions from advertising but ads are ugly and i dont like them, facebook for a good deal of time had no ads (im not comparing it to facebook as thats one of the few sites that made it big and they got rich from that). If in the future this works we could try make money from it but i really doubt it id like a site that works and people use so thats why i cant pay you or anyone, this will be a hobby project for me. Also note how srf is popular but makes pretty much no money minus donations.

hmm im going to sell something, you realise im going to lose money in this project some call it an investment but as much as i feel the idea is good getting it to work is a different story, im asking people to be part of it not work as 3rd party which is another difference.

i guess this is just yet another time i overestimated srf i expect so much more from it then anyone can get.

and again i dont want to let the ideas drop until its on paper and finalized been working on it all weekend im going to get working on it in a week or so also need to check a few things to make sure im not wasting my time

I don't need to be paid. If it's interesting and it serves the community, I'd join. In condition the credit has to leave to all contributor of course, and if you gain profit, I'd benefit a share.

if on the premis we can gain money contracts will be devised but i have doubts on that, and ofc credit will be given again if we do gain money and credits are not given im in for a world of pain

right now its a neat little idea that requires work, messege me if your interested in taking part i think i have room for anyone with some skill set from video editing, computer graphics to good communication skills, plus if i can set it up right as a community project given enough people are involved getting exposure will be a lot easier ie 10 people share with 10 friends kind of approach
