As for the movies I haven't seen them. I could technically watch them from home and not worry about the social ramifications (although it wouldn't really bother me), but a movie based on a vampire-werewolf-teenage girl-love-triangle doesn't really entice me.

i gotta hand it to the screen writer...M.Night could take some tips he took a well written series and turned it to garbage...whoever adapted the screen play for twilight did a good job, the subject matter sucks and obviously because of that it will never be good but it could've been alot worse....

umm, boys before flowers has also been made into a japanese live-action drama. then there was a korean remake. God, if I have to think of my japanese 4 class when we watched both seasons throughout the entire semester, it was hell. Fcking girls in our class screaming over it..and why are japanese dramas soooo corny? I remember this one other japanese show that we watched, there was a scene where all these students are getting beat up by a gang and they call THEIR HOT FEMALE TEACHER for help (hello 911 this is police...) and she runs over to them and stares down the gang. Man its so stupid.
