Ipod Touch

So I've had my 2nd gen touch for about 1.5 years now, and recently things started to go wrong.
The main issue however, is that the screen flickers violently and the brightness is super low, even when I turn it up to max in the settings.

Anyway, I was wandering what the problem could potentially be, and how much it might potentially cost to fix. I <3 my ipod :\

I got one of those videos too, a black one. Still works perfect but I use my iphone for music now.
