Judging from the posters in the subway stations. Although, I tried watching the first 2 minutes of it.. it's not that bad. I might give it a chance.

I love watching Spartcus, the fights are good as watching 300 or Troy.

My point as well. People are stupid How can a battle that took place in 480BC between the combined armies of the Greek City States and the Persian Empire have ANYTHING...to do with a Slave revolt in 11BC Roman Empire?

I thought the first episode was boring, but I suppose that's with a lot of series. I've only seen the first 2 episodes, and I liked episode 2 better. You'll be reminded of 300 a bunch of times, and imho, they overdid it with the bloodsplattering, but it's neat enough.

its probably closer to reality than we realize. unless you mean that you disliked the blood spatter rather than it being more than what is realistic.
^^Thanks Thomas42

Well I don't really see how you could argue that this is realistic, of course it's not. Blood flying around like it's a Quentin Tarantino movie with chopped of limbs all over the place. It's obviously not too realistic. I think it's pretty entertaining, don't take it too serious and you probably will as well.
