It doesnt seem to support widescreen, my driver has changed from the nVidea gfx diver to like "Generic pnp..." some crap.
Anyone know hwo to deal with this? I hate using low resolutions!

I've been having some resolution problems with Nvidia's latest drivers too. Lots of people bitching about it on their support forum. I can run my normal res but not the right refresh rate, and others have similar problems to what you're having. The drivers work for the most part, it's just that they farked up the resolutions somehow.

Both Windows and Nvidia are picking up my monitor's native resolution of 1920x1080.

Had this problem with Team Fortress 2. Right click your Desktop and click on Nvidia Control Panel. Go in the "Change flat panel scaling" section under the Display tab and for #2. check use my Display built-in scaling. Solved the problems for all my games =)

If your computer defaults to a standard resolution it means your drivers aren't working. As someone brought up, it may be a problem with the newest update. I know my Nvidia drivers are working fine.

Sound isn't working either, it just says that there aren't any audio output devices installed =/

Everything works perfectly fine for me. Did you recently reformat and forget to update drivers? Could be many different things..

You need to turn off the nvidia controlled portion and allow them all to be soft control, and for audio, u will prbly need to audio card cuz ac97 onboard isn't supported and a lot of audio card support was dropped, just like vista, audio cards are my least to upgrade cuz they all seem about the same but vista made me upgrade cuz I couldn't find any drivers to reverse engineer so yah there the news

I had downloaded all drivers and wouldn't work for me too. I then downloaded a certain plug-in (really can't remember which one), and all of a sudden, it worked perfectly. Might try to search for a plugin.

I don't have that nVidia option when I right-click my desktop.
@Gaige, I don't think I'll be buying a sound card, if that is the problem I guess it just wont be fixed...
