Audio Driver

Post by Skyve »

I'm sure you'v had this problem before when reformatting your PC. Anyways I reformatted my sister's PC with Window XP. Everything went fine except for the fact that I had no sound. Had this problem before with 2 other PCs I reformatted but the AC97 Audio Driver solved the problem. Sadly the AC97 didn't solve the problem here :( I'v also downloaded the UAA HD Audio Driver but no results :x

In the Device Manager I get the "Yellow ?" at "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus". I'v clicked Update but Win coudn't find anything better. Would like to give you the PC model but it was custom built =/...

HELP? :(

Get your motherboard model. Go to the manufacturer's website and download the associated sound drivers.
