Must say, as an man utd fan, we were very lucky to get away with a win. I was surprised by how well Arsenal's midfield played, esp. w/o fab. and Arshavin's goal was awesome, and poor diaby got an own goal, he was having a pretty good match :P .

I think the problem with Arsenal (in this match) was the same as last season, they
can beat the small clubs, but when it comes to the big teams they struggle...kind
of like opposite to how last season Liverpool did well against the top teams but
shit against the low ones.

A few signings and Arsenal should be looking more dangerous, saying that Man Utd
were lucky to win...but still, nothing beats, beating one of your title rivals 8)

It seems like someone jinxed the premier league. Remember how everyone used to say arsenal would drop out of the top four this season, but then they won their first game 6-1 (against a team like Everton, which came in 5th), and liverpool were title favorites, but they have already lost 2 games out of 3 played, :P

Arsenal, AZ Alkmaar and Olympiakos should watch out for Standard.
Yesterday the champion(Standard) played against Anderlecht (number two in the belgian league)
and look what happened:
Image
this is serious shit, Witsel(Standard), best player from belgium caused a double open fracture on the leg of Wasylewski (Anderlecht). He's out for 10 months at least, maybe his entire carreer.
And Defour (Standard) , best player of Belgium last year caused an injury to Polak (Anderlecht) which keeps him out of competition for 6 months at least.
A shame for belgian soccer!
I hope they lose every single match in the champions league with at least 5 goals difference!

Anyways, surprised that Man Utd didnt score more goals, we played pretty good imo. Madrid was pretty good, loved raul's and guti's goal.
Looking forward to tomorrow, FC Barcelona vs. Inter Milan. Probably going to be the most interesting game in my opinion :o

Inter Milan vs. Barcelona 0-0 FT.
I think inter played pretty well not to concede a goal, w/ the likes of iniesta and xavi on the pitch. Wanted Eto'o to score though =(

Arsenal vs. Standar Liege 3-2 FT
great comeback by Arsenal

Liverpool vs. Debrecen 1-0 FT
All the english clubs only scored 1 goal against inferior teams (cept arsenal) :P

Turned out to be 2-3, but should be 2-2!
That second goal from Arsenal (Vermaelen i think) was so clearly offside and ball got touched by hand too

Wasn't a doubt in mind that we wouldn't come back from going 2-0 down. In the end we deserved to win.

Surprised no one scored in the barca game.

With United winning, and Inter not losing to Barca, we are 1 step closer to seeing a final with Trice's 2 favourite teams in the whole worlds :D

And thank god that lazy arse Ibrahimovic is gone. Now we just need to get Berba out of united, and someone who actually gives a crap about the team, in

I didn't get to see the game as I was watching inter vs. barca, does anyone have a highlights of the game?

Well imo berbatov is pure class, its just that him being paired with tevez or rooney makes him seem so slow (since the latter 2 are pretty much keep running around the pitch)
Berba > Ibra :D

AZ really messed up. Played well, tactics we're fine, yet they forgot to actually play soccer and score.

I was bored during the match, and frustrated when Olympiakos scored.
