i think the question being asked here is stupid >.< cant brag about high number of reps. oh and i also think you shouldve asked about weight as well couse a 300 pound person benching 250 isnt impressive at all.

Well technically that is true, but only to some extent. The fact is, incline BP throws a lot more emphasis on the upper chest, whilst decline hits the lower a lot more, although the upper part is still being used slightly. I have to say, when I do incline BP, the next morning my upper chest feels a lot more sore than the lower part.

i agree, that is why the bench press exercise is considered a compound exercise, meaning it works on multiple muscles on your body. however, you can still target a specific area that you want to work.
this is for anyone that want to workout and dont want to spend so much time in the gym. always use compound exercises like squat, pull ups, bench press, and bent row to work out with. unless, you have to improve on certain muscle on your body than you need to use isolation exercises like bicep curl, triceps extension, leg extension, and etc. If you want to bench press more work on your shoulders and triceps.
