video problem on sony vegas!

Post by BlackFox898 »

i have downloaded a video from youtube with a FF extension and the video plays normally on youtube and in VLC player, but when i put in in sony vegas to edit it i get this pixel distortion all over the video as you can see.

i have tried rendering it to see if it would go away but there was no luck with that. it's an mp4 file.

does anyone know what i am getting this problem? what can i do?

in order to process the changes quickly, editing software (at least for video) makes the quality lower. try doing your edits to the file, saving it and then playing in VLC. it should play properly then.
notice how in WMM the framerate gets screwed up ass well.

if this is not the case I suppose sony vegas isn't very supportive of the mp4 file or it's simply a crappy recording...
