2 and maybe 3. I have very little arm strength though, so probably not 1.

You forgot to mention other requirements. You can't just ace the PFT and expect to join...you need to have some educational as well as moral merit as well.

If I got off my ass and worked out a bit again I could.
That said, basic would get me into the Marines.

Re: Could you get into the Marines?
20 pull ups; yup
100 crunches; easy
3 mile run in 18mins; only in my dreams. Think my shin splints and bad knees would stop me around half the first mile lol.

I was like determined to be able to do 1 arm pull ups for ages.. and i was getting close to it. And then the pull up bar at local gym suddenly disapeared. They got a new one 2 weeks ago, so i'm gonna try again.
Crunches? Is that with your feet pinned down or not? If so, yes.. if not, no.
Running.. no. I'm gonna start running again in the summer, i HATE treadmills!!!

Mmm, I don't know if they pin your feet down, but for the crunches I'm familiar with you wouldn't need them pinned down. A crunch is simply flexing your abs and raising your shoulders and the upper portion of your back off the ground. You're lower back stays on the ground. It's not a full-blown sit-up.
I've been running and working out regularly for about a year now (after being out of HS and HS sports for 2yrs and getting terribly out of shape

I've been running and working out regularly for about a year now (after being out of HS and HS sports for 2yrs and getting terribly out of shape) and still have difficulty with the 20 pull ups.. Difficulty as in, most days I can't do it. The running I could do, but it'd be difficult. Crunches are easy.
That's what the Air Force does. Your elbows and biceps need to be parallel to your chest, I believe, for it to count as a sit up.
Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes.

Re: Could you get into the Marines?
1) Marine recruiters come to my school often, and sometimes they bring the pull up bar for those manly enough to try the 20-pullup-challenge. I've only succeeded twice(Tried about 5 times), and got a nifty water bottle for it.
2) Done before.
3) I've ran it in ~20. =/ I usually don't run more than 2 miles. I feel like dying after 2.5 miles. xD
Marines are built. One of the ones that usually visits my school has the neck of a tree trunk. >_>

I served in the Dutch Marine Corps.
The training is rather different than that of the USMC.
We got 6 months of training, in different climates.
But, I Could do #1 easily.
#2 Easy
#3 On the edge

Easily, but is there a time limit on the crunches?
I run 4 miles a day and lift every other day... get an ab workout in when I'm not lazy, typically I let running handle that =D

Two minutes for the crunches. So a crunch every .8 seconds.

Re: Could you get into the Marines?
I can do about 10 chin ups. So I'd fail at the first.
But anyway, I think I could do the rest.

Re: Could you get into the Marines?
BTW, you're criteria is slightly off.
I got a 99 on the ASVAB and went Naval Information Operations. But I also train with marines, and their pushups and situps are times to 2 minutes, like ours are, not just a simple "I can do this many" it's "I can do this many in 2 minutes" And the number for them depends on age, as well as the time on the run. The pullups vary slightly as well. There is no set number thatspans the age groups.

Re: Could you get into the Marines?
Oh man too many people who can do 20 pull ups:D I could only do those crunches, not a big runner and those pull ups, no way. Well at least I'm honest:D
