I'm not a muslim, but I'll hazard a guess here. In the muslim religion, (and actually a the Middle East in general, because this extends to some non-muslim arabs, jewish people, and maybe some north africans), swine are considered to be filthy animals. I know that practicing muslims and jews don't eat pork because it's against their religion to do so, based on the whole filthy animal thing.

Why this would offend them? It probably has something to do with what happens if a muslim person catches the swine flu...and the fear that they will be considered as unclean as a pig. I believe that's a major insult also, to compare someone to a pig or call them a pig.

Like I said, I'm not a muslim, I could be TOTALLY wrong here

But you have to obey me and be either a decent shot or a great fighter, or have some sort of technical skill I'm in need of. The first places we're hitting when the shit hits the fan are pharmacies, grocery stores, and Home Depot. Prepare yourselves.

Well apparently New Zealand has 20+ people with it. They were tested yesterday and came back positive.

It seems to have started by a Mexican pig farm, they are denying it but people around it say it's caused some issues in the past and a boy that works there may have it.

They said eating pork is fine, you won't get it from that.

Tamiflu and GlaxoSmithKline Plc's Relenza both react against swine flu. They said they are working on an antidote that could be available in May but will take months..or something.

no just you have to wait until the rabies virus mutates lol. honestly out of all the ways the world will go to the shit hole (like real deep like so deep humans are almost gone) zombies would probaly be the better one. why because wait till winter they all freeze due to improper body functions then run out and pop there head problem solved.
