Age of pirates 2?

Anyone noticed the increase of pirate stories on the news these days?
Let it be the Economy or maybe just because its Africa who knows.
I know piracy happens often, but its odd that the media is highlighting this one just because American citizens were involved.
I'm just saying, could be another pirate age.

I don't see why there couldn't be an increase in stealing on the ocean as a result to the economy. Most of these pirates had jobs such as fishing, and since those are gone, they are desperate.

IMO, the new pirates are lame. They are like 16 years old and had to get towed because they ran out of fuel for their ship.
