So...is it a good idea? Ive heard I8kfanGUI is a good idea for fan issues but Ive also heard the opposite so Im too scared to try it. For the past 2 months now Ive been unable to play ANY game whatsoever (even browser games
) on my laptop due to heating issues. After playing for an average of 20 minutes, my notebook heats up horribly and after a violent whir of the fans, my framerate drops to like 5 and its impossible to do anything until my fan speed returns to normal.
