America being almost the only country allowing guns, and having the most prisoners in the world makes me wonder if it's related.

Life isn't always pretty, so I understand the necessity of a gun, but when people carry around guns being prepared to be threatened for their life, what kind of Farking 3rd world country are you living in?

I can somewhat understand people who like to shoot guns, each to his own. But I think it's wrong you can get them so easy and you can carry them concealed.
Just imagine some insecure guy shooting a gun for the first time and having an empowered feeling. Now he's gonna carry his gun with him all the time, makes him feel good and strong. The next time he's suspicious about someone he might just pull his gun and the next thing you know there's gunfire all over the place.

I think everyone being able to carry a gun creates more dangerous situations than it prevents.

I guess its hard for me to comment, i am an Australian after all, but i think the problem doesn't lie with guns but rather a mix of other deeper influences which causes the amass of violence we see present in the world. If i may quote billy maddison; "guns don't kill people, i do". The problems lies within the mindsets of the people in society, not with the fact that the means of killing someone is easily avaliable. Sure i admit there will be cases when someone loses the plot and kills someone with a gun, but who's to stop him using a brick or a knife if he didn't have a gun. The drug narco activities, bank robberies, mass killing such as the columbine killings, they were all pre planned with a strategy for acheiving the deseired result. If guns were banned they would find another substitute or get them illegally ( which much like someone mentioned before puts more money in the hands of crinimals ).

You dam flag waving americans can crap shit out your mouths boasting how awesome you are and that you are soo awesome with your big guns, but the instant shit goes bad you try to shift the blame onto something else, as opposed to yourselves. You need to live life lawfully without hurting others. If you can not do this then change. If you can not change then sit down, shut up and die like the rest.
