LCD TV problems

i recently bought an lcd tv, about a week or so ago. everything seemed fine when we got home. but now we notice a lot of sound problems with the tv and we dont know how to fix it.

- certain channels switches on its own to SAP instead of stereo.
- certain channels have double audio.
- certain channels have no sound at all.

we tweaked the settings so many times. reset it. but its still possessed.

it this fixable or am i suppose to return this?

no sound on certain channels? your tv is obviously a must to return...no sense trying to fix that

try to buy a product from a good brand...less defects you know

Just return it. If you haven't noticed yet, tech reviews are almost of no help to you at all. There are opinions on both ends of the spectrum and reviews aren't always entirely truthful. Toshiba isn't known to make great lcds - get a samsung or LG or sony.

lol in fact, Toshiba isn't known to make anything great. I may be contradicting myself when I express my opinion about it, but at least I can guarantee you that its honest. Toshiba makes the worst laptops and computers ever - i don't see how things would look up for tvs

thanks for everyones suggestions. i did end up tweaking the settings a bit more. unfortunately the manual is a worthless POS. the menu is a bit too basic so there wasnt much you can mess around with. luckily i did end up fixing all the problems, thank god cuz i dont wanna lug that thing back. i still have less than 3 weeks to return it if i notice the problems again but hopefully i fixed it for good.

edit: ended up calling toshiba tech support. they told me it was malfunctioned and to return/exchange it. we went back to best buy and ended up getting a new samsung instead since they were on sale and i had an additional 10% off due to using my mastercard
