Based on her accent, this woman is a French Canadian, meaning she didn't hear the American anthem at school, and was probably asked to sing at the game a week or two before. Try learning a song you don't know the notes or words to in a couple weeks and be able to sing it infront of a crowd of several thousand, plus however many million watching on television.

As for slipping on the ice, take some heeled shoes and try to walk on ice.

Yeah learning songs that are 2 minutes long is a really complicated and straining process.
We all should cut that woman some slack, it's not really anything important that she sang anyways. Who gives a damn about the national anthem.
