CD Drive Problems LOCK
Well the other day I burned a movie to a DVD ROM and now ever since that my CD Drive isn't working, I put in a cd and it does nothing. I have tried to mount an ISO file and it does nothing(don't know if this has anything to do with it but either way it doesn't work.) I have swapped out two of them and neither works. Any suggestions would be appreciated on how I could fix this.

Re: CD Drive Problems
1. CD Drives cannot burn DVDs
2. Assuming your 'CD drive' is actually a DVD drive
3. Mounting ISO files is done on a virtual drive, your actual drive SHOULD NOT do anything
4. Do you hear any movement at all when you insert a dvd/cd into drive?
5. Try download more ram?

Re: CD Drive Problems
Well I did some more research and I found out that because I burned a dvd it caused a bug with windows where it takes off my CD drives and all virtual drives from my computer so in order to fix it I had to delete some registry files.
