What's your opinion on stretchers?

If you don't know what a stretcher is, its a device which you put through the hole in your ear (ear piercing) in order to stretch it and make a bigger hole. Usually done by spikes

What's your opinion on these? Do you consider it a form of self mutilation? Do you have one? Would you consider getting one?

As far as I'm concerned, I like stretchers with small holes, not a huge gaping ear lobe that will never heal. I consider it a form of self mutilation when it is to the extent of not being able to be healed.

Aw, I didn't realise so many people hated them.

If it makes you feel better, I think the huge ones are disgusting. But it I wanted to close mine, I gotta remove the stretcher and use sandpaper to rip open the skin so it is an open wound and can heal.

I like gauged ears (besides the super stretched ones, those are far less attractive). When I was in high school I always wanted to stretch mine, but I was worried they wouldn't shrink back and it'd be an issue when I tried to get a job later in life.

I like gauged ears (besides the super stretched ones, those are far less attractive). When I was in high school I always wanted to stretch mine, but I was worried they wouldn't shrink back and it'd be an issue when I tried to get a job later in life.

Having your ear lobes extended to gently touch the wet pavement might not land you a decent job.. But atleast you can string a couple of magnets on them and whore as a trash collector.
