How much money do you carry around?

I carry around $0 on average to $40 would be my max.

Rest would be on credit card, or I go on school trips and carry around 40 at a time and around 200 in my stuff that is hidden.

It depends where you live.

In DC I had wonderful public transport. Never even needed a car.
In Wales now, the public transport is shit, I live in between a few towns.

If you live in the middle of nowhere in any country the public transport will be shit.
If you live in a city, the transport will be good. London for example.

Minimum wage in DC is 7$ something which is a tiny bit less than the minimum wage here converted.

Americans complain because they like their gas guzzling trucks. Britain/Europe actually deal with the problem, and use 'diesel' which is 30% more efficient per mpg. Or use LPG is which is 50% of the price of petrol.

My guess is if fuel was put up to 7$ dollars a gallon, Americans would be doing the same, but until then, they will carry on moaning.
