HALP!! [IPOD&SYNC]
My external hard drive died and it has ALL my music on it, so I lost like everything. So then I realized I have all my songs on my ipod, but then if I connect it to the computer it automatically syncs the songs from itunes onto the ipod, meaning if I connect it I will lose all my songs on the ipod too (if on sync).
So I really really really REALLY need to find out how to copy all my songs from my ipod to the pc.I'm really not to optimistic on how this will turn out, but if it works, i will give you the biggest cookie...ever.

I saw that, and then I remembered the music is saved as crypted music files so then like say I'm looking for this one song and then it would called like c93ns92 or some shit so I would have to rename like hundreds of songs so I would know what I was playing which is a pain in the ass...
I'm trying some thing called Media Wigit Ipod transfer software, thank god for warez hoping it works...

just dont dled a program, turn of auto sync, plug in your ipod, show hidden files, and just copy all the music off it onto the computer, itunes, windows media player and the ipod will pick up the song names as when they are added to the ipod they are named shit like GTHKN.mp3 but the song details are stil there so dont worry

The media wigit program worked perfectly, I connected my ipod to my computer when it started syncing i quickly shut it off and then It copied all the music to a folder and it had like the artist>album>song kinda way so it now organized and now im rebuilding my itunes...this program is a god send

Re: HALP!! [IPOD&SYNC]
Download winamp, you can access all of your music from there without it syncing. Uninstall iTunes first though.
