Do you crack your knuckles?

I do, I crack 3 places on each finger, I crack my wrists, back, 2 places on each toe, both knees, both elbows, neck and thumbs.

I just find it feels nice and I'm aware of the apparent risks.

How about you, do you crack you're joints?

EDIT -- Also my ankles.

I crack my finger knuckles only =D, sometimes my elbow if it's all stiff lol.

I crack my finger knuckles about 3-5 times each, which may sound disgusting, but after 9 YEARS of fiddling with my fingers (Because I started in 3rd grade. Sadly I still remember exactly how I started) I managed to find many different ways to crack, ie. Pull, twist etc lol.

I've been trying to kick the habit for god knows how long, but I seem to do it all the time!

I really regret ever starting, and my brother never used to do it, and I told him to never start, but now he does. I'm like ugh -.-

So I don't do it because I want to, it's like smoking - Hard to stop now.

I know how to feel, I remember exactly.

I was on a basketball court and my finger has hurting, so I was stretching it and it just cracked, felt alot better.

After nearly 10 years of doing it I expanded what I can crack and how I can crack it.

A single event is not enough to cause damage to the joint, although there is a hypothesis that prolonged joint stress due to cracking knuckles may eventually lead to a higher risk of joint damage.[citation needed] However, the long-term consequences of this practice have not been studied thoroughly, and the scientific evidence is inconclusive. In a letter to the editor,[6] Dr. Donald L. Unger reported to have spent fifty years cracking the knuckles of only his left hand twice daily. After this time his hands were found to have no noticeable differences and no arthritis had developed. (Note that this is not a serious scientific study, and results can be only generalized to "knuckle-cracking physicians with a lot of time on their hands" as the article states half-jokingly). The common parental advice "cracking your knuckles gives you arthritis" is not supported by any evidence, but habitual knuckle crackers are more likely to have hand swelling and lower grip strength attributed to stretched tendons.[7] It is likely that this is said because the parents in the past have felt uneasy or uncomfortable hearing joints make such a sound, as a lot of people do, and have tried to frighten them into not doing it.

Hmm Crack anything I can daily.

Also, I heard that it was actually good for you. Seeing as you release the small air pocket in the joint .. thus freeing it up for easier motion.

I broke my left thumb like, god knows how many years ago playing basketball. Now sometimes it locks in place and i have to crack it to get it to move again. Dosnt hurt at all but it sounds like im snapping a tree trunk. I tend to crack my knuckles/fingers atleast once a day, more when im at work.

Knuckles and upper back sometimes. Need a good chair to do that though lol.

It's not really a habit, you actually feel when you want to crack your knuckles. Once you do it feels good though.

I "pop" my knuckles and back, sometime i'll do my knee's if they hurt. just love the feel and sound.
