Yar, FLCL(Fooly Cooly) was awesome. Afro Samurai is pretty good too. Both are mini-series.

it depends on what gundam you watched. gundam seed and gundam wing are just complete trash, for example

It's like 26 or 28 episodes... around there and it's about this young girl by the name of Haruka with her best friend Yuu. A mysterious black garmed man is after her because he's really after the Dragon Torgue. The only object that can save their demension from Shangi'la another demension in war 15 years from the Haruka's present.
Nothing EXTREMELY special but it's not shit either... Although some episodes in the middle are kinda boring but helps you understand more what's goin on.
Another one is Excel Saga. It's about 24 episodes with like 2 banned episodes. It's about this girl that belongs to this secret organization that tries to save the world from corruption through what most people would consider "evil" ways. It's extremely funny, the nonsense of the show is SO much that u will like it. Search it in youtube and if an episode doesnt come out from ur search then do it by google ^^ hope u like it.
