Is PlayStation 1 worth buying?

I'm thinking of might buying psone, but i'm asking ur opinior, is it worth it. Any cool game with good graphics(mostly graphics). Dont have money 4 ps2 so:D

$150 USD for a new PS2 around here and thats over priced. You might as well save up for a PS2 that you you can play PS1+PS2 games for the price of one system....so to answer your question, no, its not worth it.

If you actually want a PS2 for some reason, then it's not worth getting, just save up.

But in my opinion, it's worth it. They're less than 20 bucks and you can get it just for FFVII, there are other games that are pretty good too for the PS1. So yeah, you should get it unless you want a specific game for PS2.

Well i have money for ps2 just i dont wanna spend like $100-150 for that.
Besides i was hoping to get ps2 for less than $50 on auction sale,but ppl are bidding so quickly ,it's already $70(well only 1 day till it ends).

PS2 stuff is so cheap nowdays, I got 35$ for 21 games at gamestop xD Got Orange box for 30$ and 5$ put on my store card. I'll see you my semi broken ps2 for 20$ It works...sometimes XD

There's still a couple of ps1 games I think are worth playing, but it also depends on what kind of games you like. Castlevania, symphony of the night, is still one of my favorites, but the question is: would you like it, and can you get it?

As for the ps1: if at all possible, get a ps2, and play any ps1 games you like on there in stead. I think it shouldn't be much more if you buy it used.

i have half a commodore 64. it broke and i lost a bit of it

If i had the space i would keep all the old consoles/computers but alas, i do not. So emulators are the next best thing. You can even get ps2 emulators but they only work with a select few games.

EDIT: i voted no though, if you had one then its maybe worth keeping for nostalgia sake but there isnt much point in buying one when you can just get an emulator. Also, incase you were wondering, you dont need to download the games for an emulator, you can actually buy the games and use them in your pc but you just have to make sure the BIOs you download for the emulator is the same region as the game.
