New keyboard (G15)

Post by Montblanc »

So, once payday comes around I'm thinking of buying the famous Logitech G15 keyboard (Along with the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000).

Basically, I was posting this asking what other peoples opinions were on this. The pros and cons would be highly appreciated.

Also, what are some great SRO apps that work in conjunction with the G15.

Thanks :D

I was thinking of buying a G15 but when i looked at some others i just went for the Logitech ultra flat keyboard premium or how the heck its called. I has the keys of a laptop. It doesnt have a lot of flashy functions. But i don't really like all those programmable keys. I also bought a logitech MX400 mouse and it's really nice.

I don't care too much for apps but err. Have to say keyboard is a very good buy. Had mine for maybe 2 years now, and am happy I have it. Macro's are good for most games .. all tho Gameguard hates the macro's. Sro is safe tho seeing as GameGuard isn't there so you can use your macro's.

There's some good software out there, but you'd have to google abit to find them. Hmm, yeah it's worth buying lol ;p

G15s are nice, I'd buy one but I am used to keyboards with low buttons, like a laptop keyboard, and my friend's G15 feels weird to me.

I think there was some real nice applications for silkroad and G15 on 0x33.

G15 -> RTS/MMORPG
Tarantula -> FPS

Your only two choices. I have a Tarantula because I play FPS. But it also matches the rest of my system, being black piano gloss + blue LEDs.

Stop treating 0x33 like its Voldemort. It's actually a good forum with useful information.

its a major bot forum, which helped procreate the silkroad we all know today, the use of 0x33 is not allowed on this forum either, dicussion about the site is not allowed and the use of the logo is not allowed, much as any other bot site, if it were up to me i would ban rev6 from srf too as they make a bot, Farking up unique hunting from something random to something people can see when they are due and camp, i prefer the old methods but means im camping there a lot longer

Ok.. well whatever. We're getting off topic here.

One more thing. I could find one going for $74.99. Can anyone find better?

Which is great, if you can afford a keyboard that costs 2x more than a gaming computer itself.

LOL, exactly what I was thinking. What's the point of buying a keyboard liek that ... hell I'd be too scared to use it incase of smashing it. ( G15 has taken many, many punches )

I had the G15v1 but i returned it cuz it was too huge and didn't fit on my desk, i replaced it by G15v2. It's alright, they should have kept the blue LEDs instead of orange..wdf were they thinking??? orange!

Neways i needed a keyboard for the LED due to late gaming, that was all. Never used one of those macro keys...nor care.
