Resolution Problem

Every time I switch from 1024 x 786 to 800 x 600 my screen starts to freeze every ~ 5 seconds. Every 5 seconds the screen would freeze for about 4-5 seconds and then I can work for another seconds before it freezes again. This doesn't happen @ 900 x 600 or any other resolution, just 800 x 600. Of course microsoft troubleshooter is useless and I can't find anything this specific on google, anyways, appreciate the help.

but anyway now were here, i also got a problem.

every 'good' looking game i run freezes after 15 mins.

Happens to me when i'm playing Battle for Middle-Earth II or Silkroad.

anyone knows what the problem can be?

i installed the latest drivers and such.

Firs of all u should give us ur system information(graphic card,cpu,ram etc).Ur problem looks like about graphic card and as other guy says u should update ur driver also update direct-x.Most computer freezing issues about memory leak i guess.Download program like RAMpage and check the how much memory u left while running game(heroo guy).If ur problem is memory probably a program sucking ur phsical memory and system go to virtual one.This memory thing may be heroo guys system problem but im not sure about urs.Try update drivers.
