Depends on the sites your on I guess >.<

Actually i was referring to the fact that you implied that information could only be attained from reading 1 out of the 2.

You said: Books are more for vocabulary and grammar.

That's not true.

My point is: I don't really agree with the fact that you stated that good grammar and a good vocabulary can only be learned from only 1 out of the 2. Especially when the 2 combined make for such an interesting read.

But it all depends on the writers,whether it be on the internet or inside a book taken from inside a public library.

But lets not turn this into a book versus internet discussion,since both hold equal value in my book. And i find discussions to be rather troublesome..

But i can honostly say that both taught me a substantial amount. Only the manner in which it was percieved and aquired differs greatly.

I'm pretty sure you don't get much hands on practice with writing while reading a book.

It's still grammar in my opinion.
Learning how to write proper and well formed writing pieces is part of good grammar.

@GrimJaw-

You're so right =) And I did not mean to sound too single minded.

If 95% of the books you're reading are written in English books for the last 5-6 years while not being a native speaker, it'll help.

Not to mention that most English books are better than their crappy translated versions.

+1 for books, though I need to buy new books. Lousy library doesn't have enough decent English books in here.
