The typical newbie thread.

Post by vietxboy911 »

Hey, this is your typical "I want to start photoshoping" thread :banghead: I've got intrest in photoshoping and sig making and all that good stuff. I've already tried searching for a nice descent guide for a totaly newb beginner, but i couldnt find one, ( tut sticky ) they seem to be for people who are kinda familar with it. I really havent gotten anywhere besides makeing the picture ( 375x125 )and im totaly lost. I dont know how to upload renders, get brushs and everything, its so complicated in my mind. What i'm kindly asking you artists is a COMPLETE NOOBIE GUIDE from step 1 to the end. It dosent have to be made by you, suggesting a link would be very helpful or any other tips and suggestions. My main purpose to get started into being a photoshop artist is the cool looking pictures and editing. I believe that I have the extra time to work on things like this to keep myself busy and to take a break from games. I'm totaly dedicated into learning how to photoshop its not even funny. I promise ill make some of the most awesomeist sig's you guys will ever see. ( and girls )So like I said before, if you could help a noob in training to learn or help for me to become a Pro in the makeing, you'll be proud to say "I helped that guy out!" and look at my awesome sigs.

~Your new artist, vietxboy.

Well honestly there is no " A-Z guide to photoshop". You just need to absorb everything and anything you read in like a sponge and then go back and apply it. Play around as much as you can don't be scared to go and use functions that you have no idea of what they do and you will eventually find your self becoming more familiar with all the tools of Ps. Once you feel at home with all that I would recommend reading Rizla's Tut on the basics.

cin also has a great one for people who are just starting off.

Other then that feel free to pm myself with something if you feel absolutely lost and I'll try my best to help you out. :)
