Got a problem x_x

hey ac ive got a problem with ps that annoys the shit out of me

look at this picture



when i press on new and make a new canavas it doesnt calaculate the size correctly so that it leaves always a bit of space -_- anyone knows how to fix that?

i think its because the image is feathered, you see how it is kinda blurred around the edges, the computer still thinks that that is information, to fix it you'd have to get rid of the blurred parts.
