Well, most of the background to the screenie was blue sky, so that made it easier. If you displayed this against a black background the cutout probably wouldn't look as good, but it blends well with the light background of this forum.

yes, making fun of the recent popout trend that hit this forum? ( i say trend, lightly )

Im pretty sure bake is making fun of the millions of new sigs that are popout by making a horribly wide one that takes 10 seconds to make (minus the rendering)

Actually, minus the cutout, it took me about half an hour to make in Paint.NET. Had to DL a gradient plugin (yeah, I know, wtf) and the text discolored when stretched, that took some creativity to fix. I am a gfx noob.

Last night, before seeing this, I actually though of gifting you a sig with the same idea.

Okay, well that's enough of that, now that the important people have chimed in. Actually I'm ashamed to admit that it does kind of look neat. I've been thinking of editing it to be more reasonable and adding some more stuff in the background. We'll see what happens when I have free time from my wofl obedience school.
