As most of you may know, mixmax2 and I have our own game development website and messageboard. I come today to share with you our most completed project so far....

The game is 2 Player mode only at this stage, with a single player mode to be added once the play mechanics are complete, as AI is a pain in the butt to do.

Why is this in the Artists Corner you ask? Because all of the graphics and most of the sound effects are custom made by ME!

You will need WinRAR to extact the files. The latest version release of GOREBALL 2006 is currently v0.9b, but older versions are also available so you can see where it started if you so wish. Approx 5Mb to download.

Here is a screenshot from v0.4b... v0.9b looks a fair bit better with the blood spatter and stuff like that. more cosmetically "sound".

the screen looks great. goreball lol matches the pic perfectly. looks prety goood sofar. il check out the game when i get time

take ping pong, mix it with soccer, then throw a bunch of gibs on the screen

pretty much, its a 2 player game (single player on the way) where players compete to score goals against each other, while earning bonus points for "fragging" the prey that run about the play field.

At the moment the game is a BETA, so there are LOTS of things to be added still, but this is the first officially FULLY PLAYABLE version I have released. I would appreciate any comments and suggestions you may have

Anyways, It was a funny game but got sick of it just like ping-pong after a few times (since my girlfriend beats me )

ill be upadting hopefully sometime in the next 24 hours. ill post here when ive uploaded the new version. there will be more power-ups and general improvements.

if you guiys/gals have any suggestions please let me know... im hungry for ideas. appropriate credit will be given for anyone who wants to contribute! XD
