it can show off how you can capture someone's eye without the use/over use of color and colorful c4ds. its much harder

I never said otherwise. I was just curious if there was a coloured version because I would have liked to see it. Since I liked the look of the tag.

I keep my b&w tags only b&w. No color, sorry.

personally its not my favorite becasue its all kinda there, i dont know what to focus on,a nd i dont like the space between the guy and the city, and i dont like the( i thin its a moon behind his head)

its all skillfully done, i just dont think that flows at all, my eye just kinda rolls off of it and doesn't really stick in my mind, i do love the simple text though,

i assume its an obvious font and i just dont know it lol, so what font is it, i really like it >.<


its a cool and eerie sig though, i dont see to many ones like it and it is nice to ahve them come up


edit: i as looking at it some more, and once you actually look at the sig, it turns out its alot better than my initial thoughts. like at first the moon seemed really out of place, but now i kinda see the perspective and almost like it now >.<, my feelings about it all keeps changing.

but i think it would be better if the moon was kinda to the right/above the city, then i would love the sig

Tried doing something more chaotic then i'm used to doing. With the moon, I tried putting it in a lot of areas, although where it is know fits the best. The font is called Franklin Gothic Medium. No idea where I got it, I've searched for it and no luck unless I wanted to pay for it.

Franklin Gothic Medium is a standard font.

Didn't know that. I've spoken with people who don't have that font.

The buildings behind him distracts me quite a bit. You did a great job with the lightsource and text but the focal can use some work. Its good but not one of your best.

Not necessarily true. Alot of the times, I'll end up with a tag where the colors just don't work too well together. I'll try to b'n'w it then. Sometimes it works and comes out great. Sometimes not. You can't say that bnw is harder to do than color, or vice versa. (:


This tag looks great as black and white, though. You have a great light source and I like how you did a steady progression from light to dark, left to right.
On top of that, I love your text placement. One of the things that I'd like to point out is that the actual word - freedom - really isn't on your level, HOLLA. Alot of the times you capture the emotion of the piece perfectly into one word, like that Secret tag you made me. I think that's one of your strongest points. On this one, though, while I can think of more than one reason why it relates to freedom, it's not that obvious and just not on level with your other pieces. If you get what I mean?

Also, I'm not too big of a fan of the buildings the way it is. Blend it in some more, I say, or even blur it slightly. It looks too strong and too sharp to me as is, and its almost creating a second focal point.

The rest is done great and tastefully. Font is nice too, like everyone pointed out. (:

I have to disagree. Black and white tags are harder to do then color, period. With color you have A LOT of options to choose from. With black and white you are limited to just two colors. I see what you mean with the buildings I suppose. Text might not have captured it for you, but for others I know it did . Thanks for the feedback.

Just my opinion, HOLLA. I'm not as experienced as you, so I'll take your word for it. :]

Those black oval shape things are distubing me. But besides that a nice tag, and +1 to 0l3n focal comment.
