Was bored and decided to try to learn some photoshop. I wanted to make some cool backgrounds so i decided to use AvAlAnChE1's tut (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=36333&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=0).

Messed around for a few mins and ended up with a nice bg that i liked. Didnt have a render to use so i just put a border on it and used a random font to put my name my name.

After 15 mins i ended up with this


Yes i'm a noob, but ps really interests me and i want to slowly learn how to be good at making sigs/photoshopping or whatever.....

So do i have a good idea with my bg?

EDIT: I will try a new one tomorrow with a render.

EDIT AGAIN: How do i load fonts i dl'ed?

Good start! Welcome to AC and PS!

Make sure you dl them to c>>windows>>fonts.
