The way I see it, Snudge and aazumak made the deadline of Sunday GMT. Even though they might have been busy (like Snudgey), they tried and got an entry in. It's in my humblest opinion that it wouldn't be fair to them if we extended it another week.

you can extend the other ones, but not sot
W the W stands for week and i think it should stay weekly, delay the otehr ones if u need to, but this is hte only one that is based per week

I believe we have delayed in before in the past. Two entries for a theme seems rather lame. I'd rather extend it then just vote based on two entries.

The thing is, like I originally said, these people actually made the effort to participate this week. I just don't think it'd be fair to extend it another week. Granted, there are probably those who wanted to participate but might have just not been able to for one reason or another. I understand that. But for those who DID get an entry in, it's just not fair to them.
Besides, next week will have a new topic. It's not like you're really missing out on anything, right?
& like aazumak pointed out, it's SOTW. One week, one theme. Next week, a new theme. Check the dates and you'll see that we've never delayed it before.
