So I finally finished this sucker. I had a lot of fun doing this one, even thought I'm not to happy with the finished result, mainly because everything was "trial n error". I just kept trying new things and in the hopes of getting something cool and new. I ended up learning a bunch of new things so it's not a complete lost. ^^

Anywho.......

That's pretty awesome. I see some places are oversharpened though, but it looks like it might even win!

Yeah, that really bugged me too I tried fixing it without disrupting the rest of the piece and it just wasn't happening so I gave up =P. AS far as winning goes, lul, I doubt it I still love yours and have a feeling it will win.

Yeah looks too sharp and grainy. :S

Sexy one though.

Now that I think about it that "grainy" look might have been contributed by the noise I added in the beginning when I was wondering how I could get stars. Bad idea on my part I guess. Thanks though ^^.

also i really like the shadows on your planet and the light around the edge, that looks very professional, and i also like the galaxies in teh background, def my fav piece of your work, i like it alot

Yup that is Snudge, good eye . She is, in my mind, supposed to represent "mother nature" kind of figure. That's why the earth is beneath her with the city lights, mountain etc etc. I'm glad some one caught that thought ^^.



Lol, and Milly she's baring my children since you kept refusing I had to get someone to do it =P.

After making cins birthday sig I got bored and decided to play around with this and came up with the two new ones posted above. Truth be told I'm liking this piece less and less I might just scratch everything and start all over since I still have a weeks time.
