Hey guys. At work, I have to create promotional materials for upcoming events. Flyers, brochures, programs, agendas, etc. I do a lot more, but this is one small part. WE're a small operation, and I'm the only one with Photoshop hahaha

Anyways, I've gotten better at photoshop over the years, but I'm not good by any means. I'm attaching a file to this post of what I've been working on for an upcoming event. Basically, it's a "SAVE THE DATE" reminder flyer thingy. If anyone wants to tinker around with it to make it more visually appealing, I would be greatly appreciative. I'm sure my boss would like it as is, because he doesn't really care, but I'd like to wow him hehe Now, this is professional stuff, so it can't be all cartoony and stuff, but I don't really know what else to do with it. I basically stole the idea for this based on the same event we did 2 years ago Thanks!

I think the overall is good.

Why are the text indented and ...with that ugly dash in front of it? Its a poster dear, and those dashes look teeeerrribly unprofessional. You should align the text to the left use some sort of small icon if you really want something in front of each line.

Like I said, I tried utilizing the style that was done 2 years ago for basically the same event (different topic of course). They indented each bullet point, using a sort of dash. My boss wanted this quickly, but he's not even in the office today, so I figure I have more time to play with it

Well you see the year ago one looks good because its using some kind of icon rather than ugly straight dashes!

haha ok ok..I'll change the dashes and use something else

How's this for a change instead of the silly dashes?

I know I'm being picky but I think the triangles are bulky kind of stretched, and not in color scheme

YUP!
