Just a tip for transparency: Don't have shadows on the transparent area. When something isn't at 100% opacity it needs a background to be faded on, without one photoshop will automatically assign a white background to those pixels.

it wasnt shadows on it--i couldnt get the transparency right for one reason or another-it always came out green 0_o so i just took the sites background color and brushed it on. it worked on the site-just not this one lol

Using Internet Explorer 6, are we?

Save them as a .gif if you insist on using that browser..

Save as PNG, and use firefox, Opera, Avantbrowser, or even Internet Explorer 7!

you're absolutely right, they're even saved as PNG's.. doh

well, you could just select a piece at the top (with full opacity) and feather it like mad, then delete it, and whatever is behind, thats what i did <.<
