It sucks. Bah.

A friend of mine asked if I could make a logo for her for a company called 'M&M partners'. Problem is, she's off to bed now and I wanted to start something. I have absolutely no idea whatsoever about what kind of company it's supposed to be, so I just tried something.

(Oh, and I know it's oversharpened, damn text >>)

(I actually started out @ 400x400 pixels :>)

When making Logos, you have to make them so it looks like Logos.

1. The text has to stand out more
2. There should be a focal (usually text or some kind of icon)
3. There's no flow to the background, its all over the place.

Hmm, I know, I know.

Anyway, untill I speak her again about what she wants me to do with it, I'm just having fun trying stuff out. Here's something business-cardish I tried.

You can do a lot better than that, Snudge.

I love simple logos, often with only 3 colors. Black, white and some strong color like green or red. Try focusing on the text and make it something special because the text/logo is the most important thing. After you have done that try to work from that and build from the text with effects etc.

Hope I gave you some ideas and don't forget to post the finished logo.

I don't like the first logo, really...

It is just that I have no idea what I'm looking at..

That's why I like the buisiness card-ish one, because I know what I'm looking at...
