How do you make a solid black border around your image in Photoshop? I did a border but it was a faded border not a solid black border...

I googled it and all I could find was plugins to make a solid black border, if I do have to download a plugin can someone link me to the best plugin.

Thanks :P

first create a new layer
fill the layer with white
go to edit>stroke and adjust the border to how thick you want it to be
choose black as the color or anything you want
press ok
use the magic wand tool
select the white and delete it

OR the easier way is to just make a new layer on top of all your other layers. Then push ctrl+A. Then go Edit>>Stroke>> Choose something around 3px and select "center."
