From eye-balling it looks like a great tutorial. It's a little small, difficult to read. Could either be the size, or also where you hosted it.

But even after clicking on the link to where you hosted it, its still too small. Any way you could make it larger? Because right now, it's unreadable, and I'd really love to see it.

i'm stuck on step 4 =[

after i drew the shapes, and created new layer, add clipping mask etc., the clipping mask stays within the boundaries of the marquee tool from step 2 and 3, not the shapes i drew in step 4.

ctrl click on your shapes you drew with your pen tool so theyre both highlighted, then hit ctrl+e.

then make a new layer on top of the merged layer, apply the image, then make the clipping mask.
