Just a quick poll for the Sig Wars thread.
HOLLA has proposed that we change the name of Sig Wars to SOTW (Sig Of The Week) because it sounds a little more professional. While this may be so, Sig Wars is slightly more unique to SRF. What's your stance?

Also, we came up with the idea that if you won Sig Wars (or perhaps SOTW), you'd get to have a little tag in your Sig stating how many times you won it. Like the AC Win tag. Which tag do you like more?

Please check two boxes. One for whether you'd like the name to be changed to SOTW, or kept as Sig Wars, and one for whether you like Ticks, Tallies, or have a better idea for the tag.

if we are going to have marks on the tag, i have a fun idea (imo. lol)

how about we make tags that can hold 3 marks.
as soon as somebody gets 3 marks, that person will get the rank sig master.
when that happens, everybody puts on the zero mark tag again and start from
zero marks again. couple weeks later, another person gets his 3 marks total
and the title sig master will be passed on to him.

So...Instead of winning two weeks in a row, You only need to accumulate 3 wins to obtain the title of sig master? And instead of it being more of a "tag" it's meant to just to keep track of your wins until you obtain the "sig master" title. Let me know if I understood you correctly.

I think we shouldn't pass on the title sig master, when you're a sig master you are one. You should be able to keep that status..

hmmm. not completely sure about that, but if all like the idea of the idea (<- lol), then
we can make up some kind of rule and see if we let the sigmaster title stay or not ;]

and holla, you got it right. you will need 3 wins to become a sig master... or well, we
can discuss how many wins a member needs to get the title. perhaps we should do a new
sigmaster title after 10 wins. 3 is kindof easy imo if we want the sigmaster rank to be
for always.

i would also like to hear fena's opinion on it before we take over the sigwars ranking
with this idea *_*

u can make a hall of fame for winners ,and i like SOTW more

I agree with twelve as well as your idea cin. What if we did the titles in ranks? Like 3 wins is sig master 5 wins is like sig pro etc... Just an idea. But I agree I'd like to hear fenas input on this

And guys, this is SRF's Sig Wars / SOTW - not mine - so I'm onboard with whatever you guys decide to do. I think that the changes you guys are discussing sound pretty cool, and I totally approve it. I'd give you a fena's Seal of Approval, but then it'd seem like I was copying Cruor.

cin's idea sounds great to me. I'm good with it. The only thing I'm kind of 50/50 about is the title of Sig Master staying. To me, it seems a little more like, if you win the title, you're SRF's one and only Sig Master until someone else wins the title away from you. It just makes it a little more rewarding, in my opinion. If we have five-six people on SRF all with the title of Sig Master, it kind of takes the meaning away from it. Just my humble opinion.

Shit, it's cold today, and my hands are frozen. Just got back from school. Last day of exams! :]

also if you win multiple ones, its a small enough image to make a sideshow of the wins.

SOTW is evrywhere while SigWars is just ours. I like to be unique so i would stick with SW. i would make a tag but no ps..

For that hall of fame idea.. why not? Its a good idea. It gives the new people an idea of what was happening before they arrived.

And what do you guys propose about the tags? Currently, the tick marks are in the lead, but we've had some other good ideas. Personally, I like aazumak's idea quite a bit.

(On another note, why are we discussing this so much when we only have two entries in Sig Wars this week? Those are what's really important. Get submitting!)
