how do you know which pics you can use and ones you can't?

All those kitty pictures I find have copyright blahblah on it.

And I want to do some sigs with a Jpop singer I love too, but I can't seem to get a "usable" picture of her. Or do people even care at all? >_>

Well, i'm not stealing pictures from authors sites, i get them from random sites, so i really dont know if it is copyrighted or not But if i see @Copyright on the image, i'm not touching it

Ah, tbh, i know one site, where ppl sharing their photos, graphix and ect, and those are not copyrighted. But that site is Russian, so i doubt you understand smth there, bu if you really want it, let me know and i send you PM

PS. I'm not Russian, i just know that language very well, and Russian sites have all the best stuff and goodies
