I know that... but kinda looks like the sun was made with lens flare.... is it?

lol of course it is.
the planets look awesome 1211. the coronas of light around them where the sunlight is illuminating their atmospheres is killer. i just really was needing something more in the middle of the LP other than lens artifacts. gimme a spaceship pl0x!!

your stars are lacking
i have a few good tutorials on how to make good stars, ill post them for you to see, other than that the only thing i dislike is how the two planets look like the same exact one..

EDIT: Kind of taking over the thread here
1211 the thing that bothers me is its soft, might just be me but I like my spacescenes sharp and rough.

No farkin way! I was just gonna make a similar scene!! Though it will be a horizon sun rise, but I must say that piece looks REALLY awesome, and voyager doesn't belong there..
