love the center, its great
the only thing i would suggest is keeping the center that sharp, but make a new layer above it all and make it blurry, but fade it out at the middle, so the sprite is sharp, and around the sprite is sharp, but the sharpness fades as it goes away
that way it draws your attention more towards the sprite, if you did that it would be a good 9/10
