Yea well Christmas is coming up and I thought I would treat myself to something this year. So I went out looking for tablets , now I'm not the most technically competent person in the world so I don't really know if I'm getting a good deal for my buck but so far what really caught my eye was this one
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetai ... tid=20393#
.I thought it looked alright for the price it was at plus it came with Coral which would let me CG my art work. I just wanted to know is it really worth spending the money on one of these and also is this one any good or all all drawing tablets pretty much the same....Oh and before I forget even though I will be getting Coral with it ( I looked and most do offer the software with the tablet itself) I still want PS so if anyone knows a "special way" could you pm me the link please and thank yous.

every single person i know who does digital art with a tablet uses a Wacom. it seems like the one you picked out has nice features and it isn't hugely expensive. i don't know much about them, but it seems like a good buy to me.

EDIT: how does the Canadian dollar compare w/ the USD? if they're close that's a good deal.

Thanks SG. I thought it was a good deal too. The site ask you to enter American or Canadian before you enter so that's the Canadian price for it.

Dunno if you've bought it yet, but Wacom is generally the way to go, however i could not find the pressure levels on the page you posted, Generally around 1000~ is very good, though I've seen as high has 1900~ (for like $2kish CAN O_O).

What you've picked out there looks pretty good overall. Also a good price.

My advice however is try to get in touch with some digital artists in different places on the web, and ask which features are essential, which aren't, and which are just extra lines on the feature list. That way you're sure to get the best for your money.

Good Luck with buying it
