You're here to learn. Take things from other artists style you like then create your own style that's what it's all about! It seems "empty" even though there appears to be a lot going on. The render seems a little small you may want to make him a little bigger. I like the colors you used and the smudging is good. The line brushing I don't like the placement of them so much. Try incoorporating a c4d in there or re-arrange your brushing to make it flow a little better. Change the font of the text as well, but the placement is fine. Other then that I like it <3

Edit: On page 4 of that link there is a brown one. Its on the top row third one from the left. You can mess with blending options to darken it if needed <3 And a tanish one on page 8

Well heres v2 =)
Kinda just took out 1 strip and changed one around, made him bigger, changed text, tell me what you think. Tell me if it looks better than the 1st one. I think the text looks bad

I would even make him a bit bigger. You can see the difference of how he looks in v1 and v2. You'll start to see what size looks better the others. Keep the text somewhat simple. Use something like Vrinda, something more on the "simpler" side. Personally I would take out that other brushing on the left as well as the right and use something else. Have it going more up towards the corner then to the side. Also he looks a tad blurry. I'd go to Filter-->Sharpen-->Sharpen one time or two get him looking a little more "crisp." Your on the right track keep practicing! <3 These are just suggestions just go with whatever you like and whatever your style is <3

I dont know, i dont like "simple" texts to much.

Sometimes simple is better. But if your going to go for something less simple. Find a font that flows well with the sig.

i dont get the "flow" thing

Now the text here "flows." It's easy on the eye and it's not the main focal point it just gradually goes with the sig as a whole.
The text here doesn't "Flow." It's not very appealing to the eye and it's more of a distraction rather then it being easy on the eye and flowing nicely with the sig.
Not the best example because I know my text isn't the greatest example. But do you get a general idea?

text isnt bad
the left side is good imo
the right side is kinda just smudged and not much to it
i feel liek you could have added another couple layers of complexity to it to make it abit more.
the three golden lines on teh left side r good though i like those, just eed something else on the right
edit but i do like it
