From the 3rd one down:
Actually, this is one of my pet peeves; C4D stands for Cinema 4D, and is a program made by Maxon used for creating 3D images. When somebody on GimpTalk uses it, however, they're usually referring to any abstract 3D render; a sample would be something like this or this. They're very useful when it comes to giving depth to sigs and other such things. I don't like it when 3D renders are called C4Ds, though, because there are literally hundreds of programs you can use to make these things: Blender, Wings, 3DS Max, Maya, Carrara, and TrueSpace, just to name a few. C4D is just one of many. Maybe we should start calling them Mayas or Blenders. Sorry, I'm done ranting now.
