3d max -> easy to model and render quickly

autodesk 3d max one of the popular 3d modelers, it has a million and 3 tutorial for it out there and a free trial
definitially get it, i like it myself, a bit confusing but rather simple once the main concepts have been understood

I also asked the same question on a game modding forum... and they recommended me
gMax and 3Dmax..
So I'll probably stick with 3DMax

I've been in the modelling things a while
I know a very simple program and is very user friendly called Sketchup;
http://sketchup.google.com
You can make houses in just 1 day, its amazing....
When you are good with Sketchup you can step over to 3DSMax 9

C4D Is, first of all, a bitch to get for free, and horrible to learn as well, IMO.
